The Italian transnational meeting of the European project *Women Participation for the Future of Europe – WOMEN4FUTURE* has successfully concluded in Pieve Santo Stefano and Anghiari.
Over the course of two days, partner organisations, local stakeholders and participants from different European countries engaged in discussions and participatory activities dedicated to the theme *“Women’s Participation in Social Change in Europe”*.
The meeting combined archival research, autobiographical storytelling, workshops and collective reflection, highlighting the importance of women’s voices and life stories in understanding social transformation, migration, inclusion and democratic participation.
Participants visited the Archivio Diaristico Nazionale and the Piccolo Museo del Diario, attended activities at the Libera Università dell’Autobiografia, and took part in workshops focused on listening, participation and creative writing based on testimonies from the DiMMi archive.
The activities encouraged dialogue between local and international participants and contributed to the development of materials, reflections and proposals for the Women4Future White Paper.
The event also strengthened collaboration between partner organisations and confirmed the importance of autobiographical practices, memory and participation as tools for promoting inclusion, active citizenship and social change.
